RotBot^TM

Developed by Plant & Food Research in partnership with ASL and HortPlus, RotBot™ is a new app for iPhone that allows users to easily and accurately assess Botrytis Bunch Rot (BBR) severity in white wine grapes.

By simply photographing grape bunches against a blue background (e.g. blue clipboard), RotBot™ will assess the percentage severity of BBR in a vineyard block. RotBot™ features a vineyard block management system to easily find previous assessments and see recent BBR severities at a glance.

RotBot™ is now available from the App Store.

• GPS mapping of bunches to show distribution within a block
• Sampling assistant to ensure truly representative assessments
• Cloud synchronisation for large-scale vineyard/block management
